Rexel UK is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Social Media Executive to join our Marketing and Brand team. You'll be at the heart of how we show up online, managing our presence across both our customer and employer brand channels to drive brand awareness and increase engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow Rexel’s social presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, with a focus on brand awareness and driving measurable engagement.
- Bring to life the new Rexel employer brand Instagram, from strategy to day‑to‑day content designed to showcase life at Rexel from the inside out.
- Write sharp, on‑brand copy tailored to each channel and audience.
- Build and manage content calendars, keeping multiple stakeholders and deadlines on track.
- Support campaigns and activations across partnerships, promotions, product launches and key moments in time.
Qualifications
- Build partnerships and collaborate with others to meet shared objectives.
- Takes action, addresses obstacles to get work done and meets commitments.
- Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer‑centric solutions.
- Develop and deliver multimode communications conveying a clear understanding of the unique business needs.
- Anticipate and adopt innovations in business with digital and technology applications.
What We’re Looking For
- Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), including strong editing and proofreading skills.
- Demonstrate creativity, curiosity and inventiveness by staying on top of social trends and bringing fresh creative ideas to life.
- Where applicable, support paid social activity on Meta and LinkedIn (desirable but not essential).
- Experience managing brand social media accounts across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Experience using social listening and analytic tools.
