Job Description
We’re looking for a proactive experienced technical renewables professional.
This is a hands‑on commercial role with real impact: You will be supporting the branch network in growing PV and Solar sales by providing technical expertise, bill of materials (BOM) creation, product selection guidance and advice on the latest regulations to our branch network and customer base.
- Key Accountabilities For a Technical Designer With Rexel
- Produce PV and Solar bills of materials and quotations for branch teams and customers.
- Provide technical guidance on product selection, system components, and renewable energy solutions.
- Assist with identifying suitable PV, battery storage, mounting, inverter, and associated product solutions.
- Ensure recommendations align with current regulations, manufacturer requirements, and Rexel-approved product offerings.
- Assist branches with customer opportunities requiring technical product expertise.
- Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, legislation, and market developments within the renewables sector.

- Ability to create accurate and commercially viable bills of materials.

- Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into product solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and supplier configuration tools.
- Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities effectively.
