Job Description:
As a Lighting Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing lighting solutions for customers across various industries. The position will cover the North West with frequent travel in the region. You’ll ensure functionality, aesthetics, and compliance with industry standards while collaborating with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver exceptional results. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop lighting plans and schemes tailored to customer requirements, project goals, and budget constraints.
- Create detailed drawings and plans using CAD, Relux, and other specialist software.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations and industry standards.
- Select appropriate luminaires and controls for each project.
- Conduct site surveys, lux level tests, and ROI reports.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers.
- Advise on switch specifications and value engineering projects with strategic suppliers.
- Manage projects, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure smooth installations with contractors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers through the branch network.
Qualifications:

- Ability to conduct lighting surveys and deliver professional presentations.
- LIA qualification in lighting design (desirable but not essential).
