The Technology Department delivers differentiation, scalability and security for the business. Technology provides digital tools, software services and infrastructure globally to all business groups. Software development and support teams work in agile 'streams' aligned to specific business areas. Our other teams work enterprise-wide to provide critical services including our global service desk, network and system infrastructure, IT operations, security, enterprise architecture and design.

Role Summary

The IAM Governance Lead will take a hands-on role in using and enhancing Marex's in-house IAM governance platform. A key focus is onboarding databases and operating systems (OS) into IAM governance, alongside application onboarding, User Access Reviews (UARs), data quality, control improvement and automation.

Responsibilities

Role specific:

• Lead application onboarding into the in-house IAM governance platform, including data-source identification, mapping, validation and production readiness.
• Lead database onboarding into IAM governance, including access-source identification, account/role/privilege mapping, data validation and readiness for monitoring and access reviews.
• Lead OS/server onboarding into IAM governance, including Windows/Linux access sources, local and privileged access, group mappings, validation and ongoing monitoring readiness.
• Work with technology teams to establish reliable access data feeds and resolve data-quality or integration issues.
• Use and enhance the IAM platform, defining improvements to workflows, monitoring, usability and control effectiveness.
• Plan and manage UAR / Access Certification campaigns, including data validation, reviewer engagement, revocations, remediation and evidence.
• Govern access exceptions, privileged access, RBAC, SoD and Joiner/Mover/Leaver control gaps, ensuring issues are tracked to closure.
• Maintain audit-ready evidence and support SOX, internal and external audit requirements.
• Use AI and automation to reduce manual effort and strengthen IAM governance controls.

Competencies, Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

• Knowledge of Entra ID / Active Directory, Windows/Linux servers, SQL/Oracle databases or similar technologies.
• Experience supporting SOX, audit or compliance requirements in a regulated environment.
• Practical experience in IAM, IAM Governance, IT Risk or Security Controls.
• Hands-on experience onboarding databases and OS/servers into IAM, governance or security tooling.
• Experience with application onboarding into IAM or governance tooling.
• Experience managing or supporting UAR / Access Certification campaigns and remediation.
• Strong understanding of accounts, roles, groups, entitlements, privileged access and JML processes.
• Strong analytical, Excel and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to own multiple activities and drive issues to resolution.

Desired:

• Experience with in-house or configurable IAM governance platforms and defining tool enhancements.
