As a Full‑stack Software Engineer specializing in both front‑end and back‑end development, experienced in React or C# .NET, you will be a key member of our Prime Services Software Development team. You will contribute to the creation and enhancement of secure, responsive web applications and services tailored for front‑to‑back trading technology, including greenfield, re‑platforming and migration to AWS cloud. You will work closely with the platform engineering team to ensure seamless integration and deployment, and with QA to deliver an automation‑first and shift‑left approach to quality control.

Responsibilities

  • Code across all proprietary applications and services that constitute the Marex Prime Services (Capital Markets) technology platform.
  • Take accountability for the quality of your deliverables, adopt an automation‑first approach to quality control, adhere to coding standards and participate in peer reviews and pull requests.
  • Work with platform engineering to automate build and deploy of existing and new systems.
  • Align with Marex delivery process and agile principles, engage in scrum ceremonies, contribute to estimation and scheduling, and resolve impediments.
  • Work collaboratively within the scrum team and across the technology function.

Competencies, Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Engineering: C#, .NET 4.8, ASP.NET, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, SQL.
  • Tools / Technologies / Infrastructure: Node.js, cloud/AWS, Bitbucket (Git), SQL Server, Jira.
  • Design: API, HTTP/REST, JSON, micro‑services and distributed systems.
  • SDLC: Agile, Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, CI/CD; understanding of and advocacy for Agentic AI / Context Engineering.

Desirable

  • Engineering: Java, Vue, Angular, .NET Core, Kendo UI.
  • Tools / Technologies / Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure, GCP, NoSQL, DNS, NServiceBus, IIS.
  • Design: Serverless, cloud‑native/PaaS, event‑driven, pub/sub, real‑time/websockets, architectural design records (ADRs).
  • SDLC: Agentic AI / Context Engineering; CoPilot, Claude, Codex, building custom agents across full SDLC.
  • Financial Services Ecosystem: Market data, Bloomberg; experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.
