Job Description

The Role

We’re supporting a fast-growing international fintech group in their search for a Senior People Operations Partner to join their small but high-impact People team, as they continue to scale and transform.

This role isn’t a back-office function. It’s hands-on, proactive, and embedded in the business. You’ll play a critical role in shaping and delivering People policies across the UK, Spain, Portugal, and supporting US projects. With big changes underway, this is an opportunity to step into a role where you can make an immediate difference and grow with the team.

You’ll directly support senior People leaders, work very closely with the People Partners, and act as a first point of contact for employees. If you thrive in a dynamic, international environment and enjoy balancing structure with ambiguity, this could be the perfect fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Rolling out and refining People policies across Spain, Portugal, the US, and the UK - identifying what’s missing and building as you go.
  • Partnering with managers and employees to provide direct support on a wide range of people topics.
  • Coordinating projects.
  • Supporting new market entry in Portugal, learning as you go, and helping to shape the foundations.
  • Contributing to major upcoming initiatives, including launching a new People portal and leveraging AI tools to improve employee and manager experience.
  • Acting as a bridge between employees and payroll, ensuring smooth handoffs and accurate processes.
  • Using data to track, manage, and present progress, bringing structure, detail, and clarity to everything you deliver.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience in People Operations, with exposure to more than one country (ideally Spain and the UK; Portuguese experience a plus).
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills. Spanish is a plus.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with strong Excel and project coordination skills.
  • Curious and resilient - comfortable working in areas that are still being defined, and not afraid to learn as you go.
  • Pragmatic, proactive, and able to balance multiple priorities at once.
  • Experience handling sensitive employee relations cases.
  • Someone who thrives in a small team where everyone is hands-on, international, and growing together.

What’s on Offer

  • The base salary is up to £60,000 plus a bonus structure.
  • Exposure to complex international projects and a broad scope of People work.
  • A collaborative team doing great work internationally, where you’ll be part of shaping the future.

The Interview Process

  1. Initial conversation with a Recruiter.
  2. First Interview with the Hiring Manager.
  3. Panel interview with team members and stakeholders
  4. A small case study to wrap up the process.
