At Trustly, the ambition is to build a smarter, faster and more secure financial future by redefining how the world pays. As Pay by Bank scales globally, strong and resilient People foundations are essential to enabling sustainable growth. The London office plays a key role within Trustly’s European operations, supporting commercial and functional teams. As the organisation continues to evolve, this role exists to ensure the People function remains structured, commercially aligned, and capable of supporting leaders in a fast-moving environment.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role embedded in Trustly’s European business. This role combines executive partnership with hands-on responsibility for a growing people function.

What you will own:

  • Own the people agenda end-to-end, partnering directly with executive and functional leadership.
  • Professionalise employee relations and separation processes, including consistent workflows, templates, and manager guidance.
  • Support organisational changes, team effectiveness, and performance cycles.
  • Identify operational gaps and implement pragmatic solutions that leaders can adopt quickly.
  • Support culture, engagement, and employee experience initiatives.

This role combines senior stakeholder partnership with detailed operational execution. Both are required.

Who we’re looking for:

Trustly is seeking a senior People Partner with operational depth, strong judgement, and a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach. A strong fit will likely have:

  • Experience as a Senior People Partner or equivalent in a scaling, tech-led environment.
  • Demonstrated experience independently managing complex employee relations matters and sensitive exits.
  • A track record of building or tightening People processes in evolving organisations.
  • Confidence partnering with executive stakeholders and influencing decisions constructively.
  • The ability to bring structure without unnecessary bureaucracy.

This is a permanent contract employed directly by Trustly.
