Re:work is partnering exclusively with a Series A HRtech company on their first Head of People hire. The founder has built this company with a clear point of view on culture and an uncompromising hiring bar. He’s not looking for someone to import generic HR process. Internally, you’ll build the fundamentals properly: performance, progression, pay consistency, manager development, and the infrastructure that lets the business scale.
You’ll work closely with the HR and People leaders who use the product, bring that perspective into what it becomes next, and represent the company through dinners, panels, events and the occasional report. This will suit someone who has worked inside an HRtech or tech startup at an early stage, ideally as a first or early People hire.
You’re comfortable in a room full of HR peers, you have a strong point of view on where the industry is heading, and the credibility to back it up. HR tech fluency matters, whether that’s from working inside an HRtech company or living inside these tools long enough to understand how HR leaders actually think and buy.
This role reports directly to the Founding CEO and is based in London or Dublin, with hybrid working and ideally two days in the office. Base £110,000–£130,000 depending on location and experience, with equity.
