As Associate within the Fire Engineering and Consultancy division you will be part of the senior leadership team responsible for leading a qualified and experienced team of fire engineers delivering projects across a wide spectrum of sectors and building types, including commercial, residential, mixed-use, leisure, hospitality, pharmaceutical and others.
Responsibilities- Manage, supervise and sign off on fire systems design for your team's projects.
- Delivery of allocated technical assignments including Fire Strategy and Fire Systems Design.
- Manage consultancy assignments and provide advisory support to Clients including contributing to the formulation of design concepts.
- Provide design management, team leadership and technical input on assigned projects.
- Maintain good relationships with clients and contribute to the marketing and growth of the fire engineering division.
- Support team development and growth through strategic inputs, market intelligence, skill development, mentoring and hiring.
- Raise and promote the level of technical excellence relating to fire engineering within the team.
- Degree qualified in Fire, Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
- Have a good understanding of regulatory requirements and relevant standards.
- Extensive fire safety design experience within a multi-disciplinary consultancy environment.
- Good understanding of relevant legislations and regulations.
- Basic salary of up to £85,000.
