Health Safety Environment Advisor in Slough

Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor | £45,000 – £60,000 | London | Permanent

Some people do safety by clipboard. You do it by clarity, common sense, and getting people onside.

We are looking for someone who can keep standards high across live sites for this industry leading design and build fit-out contractor. The SHE Advisor will support teams properly, and make safety feel like part of the job – not an interruption. This is hands-on, practical safety leadership in real construction environments.

What you’ll be doing

• Setting and maintaining SHE standards across all sites
• Inducting new starters and keeping teams up to speed with legislation
• Advising Construction Managers with clear, practical guidance
• Site inspections, notices, and stepping in when something isn’t right
• Reviewing RAMS, CDM documentation, and safety plans
• Investigating incidents and tightening processes
• Acting as the link between client, designers, and contractors on CDM

What you’ll bring

• NEBOSH + strong CDM experience
• IOSH membership
• Occupational H&S qualification
• Ideally AcPC3 and/or SITS
• Calm under pressure, confident, and able to win trust on site
