We are seeking an experienced Digital Construction Manager to drive digital delivery and information management across construction projects in the Midlands & North. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional to lead BIM coordination, implement digital construction strategies and improve collaboration across project teams.

You will be the main point of contact for digital construction on your projects, working closely with design managers, project teams, consultants and subcontractors to make sure the right systems, processes and information management standards are in place.

The role covers BIM Execution Plans, Common Data Environments, model coordination, clash detection, information compliance and the wider adoption of digital construction technology. You will also play a part in improving processes, supporting project teams and ensuring digital information is properly managed throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage project Digital Construction strategies and BIM Execution Plans.
  • Lead design coordination, clash detection and model auditing.
  • Manage Common Data Environments (CDEs) and project information management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with project information requirements, ISO 19650 and Building Safety Act obligations.
  • Support and train project teams, consultants and supply chain partners in digital systems and processes.
  • Monitor digital delivery performance, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum three years’ experience in Digital Construction and the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of BIM, 3D modelling, design coordination and information management.
  • Experience using CDE platforms and digital construction tools, such as Asite, Revit, Solibri or BIMcollab.
  • Good understanding of information management standards, model auditing and data validation.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
  • A valid CSCS card and previous construction site experience.

This isn't simply about knowing the software. You will need to be comfortable leading discussions, challenging processes where necessary and helping project teams understand the practical value of digital construction and your ability to work with people will be equally as important.

It’s an opportunity for an experienced Digital Construction Manager, or someone ready to take that next step, to take ownership of digital delivery on major construction project.
