Senior Mechanical Project Manager – up to £120,000 (DOE) | London | M&E | Permanent
So, this isn’t one of those speculative, “nice to have” roles. Multiple residential jobs in London are firing up, and this M&E Contractor is ready to go.
We need a Senior Mechanical Project Manager who can operate at pace, lead teams and won’t fold under pressure when it gets to squeaky bum time on site.
I would suggest you are going to be the kind of person who likes running things on your terms – steering delivery, people and performance across live sites.
Who will you be working for?
In short, a London-based MEP Contractor delivering mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety engineering across residential and mixed-use projects across the capital and South East. They are very well known for being hands-on, quality-driven and client-focused – from design and install through to commissioning.
Their portfolio is largely residential and mixed-use schemes, where mechanical systems are critical, complex and visible.
What you’ll be doing:
- Running multiple mechanical packages across central and Greater London residential schemes
- Coordinating engineers, subcontractors and site teams
- Driving quality, programme and cost control
- Representing the business internally and with clients/consultants
- Making decisions that actually stick
You’ll be out on site, confident behind the scenes with design and compliance, and able to hold your own in commercial and technical conversations.
Who we want:
Someone who’s been around the block and has the scars to prove it - Senior MEP experience with a mechanical bias, ideally across residential / mixed-use projects in London. You can read a drawing and interrogate a programme, but your real edge is in leading delivery, not just reporting status.
