Role Overview

As a Senior Insight Manager, you will play a pivotal role in transforming complex datasets into actionable insight for clients. You will lead analytical workstreams, shape the development of insight products, and deliver compelling stories that support client strategies. A core part of this role is leading and owning relationships with high-profile clients and consistently delivering accessible, accurate, and actionable insight. You will also champion the use of AI and emerging analytical tools, ensuring our approaches remain innovative, efficient, and future-focused.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analytics & Insight Delivery: Lead the design, execution, and interpretation of analytical projects across a range of customer and market insights. Develop clear and compelling insight narratives that translate complex findings into commercial recommendations. Build statistical and predictive models (e.g., multiple linear regression, clustering) that support strategic planning, including location planning and customer segmentation. Leverage AI-enhanced analytical methods and drive the adoption of new tools and technologies, ensuring the team continuously evolves and delivers high-quality outputs at scale.
  • Client & Relationship Management: Lead high-profile and strategically important clients, ensuring exceptional service and proactive, strategic guidance. Nurturing long-term relationships through frequent engagement, reliable delivery, and meaningful insight. Present analytical findings in a clear and engaging way, supporting clients to act on insight. Shape and scope proposals that address client needs while positioning Reward’s insight capabilities effectively. Support the wider Reward team in engaging and selling Reward services to new and existing clients. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure insight is aligned with client needs and strategic direction.
  • Technical & Operational Excellence: Own data processes, ensuring analytical outputs are accessible, accurate and actionable. Work with wider teams to enhance data pipelines and improve access to insight. Champion modern analytical practices, including scalable modelling frameworks and AI-assisted data processing. Mentor other analysts, providing guidance, coaching, and quality oversight.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Skills: Expert proficiency in Excel and/or equivalent analytical tool/language (Python, R). Highly numerate and familiar with statistics, i.e. correlations, standard deviations, use of control groups. Proven ability to turn data into stories that clients understand and value. Excellent communication skills and a passion for developing long-term client partnerships through insight. Experience building customer-level analytical models (e.g., segmentations) is highly desirable. Experience with AI/machine learning tools is also highly desirable.
  • Outlook: Positive and adaptable. Determined to make a difference.
  • Experience: Must have strong numerical background either through a degree or relevant professional experience. Strong experience (4+ years) in an insight, analytics or data science role—ideally within a relevant sector, i.e. Hospitality or Retail.
