Reward Gateway | Edenred is a global market leader in benefits and employee engagement.

We help our clients and their leaders transform employee experience that will attract, engage and retain top talent through employee benefits, strategic rewards and recognition, well‑being, and much more.

As Reward Gateway | Edenred continues to scale globally, we are expanding our Delivery function to support a growing portfolio of cloud‑based, high‑availability Saa S products.

With a significant number of engineering squads operating across regions, we are looking for a high‑impact Senior Agile Delivery Manager who thrives in complex engineering environments and can bring clarity, structure, and predictability to multi‑team delivery.

This is a high‑ownership, hands‑on individual contributor role.

You will directly own delivery for 3–4 engineering squads, working closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and fellow Agile Delivery Managers to ensure seamless delivery across features, platform initiatives, technical debt, and incidents.

If you excel at system‑level thinking, cross‑team alignment, and delivery orchestration in cloud environments, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery Ownership (Across 3–4 Engineering Squads): own end‑to‑end delivery for 3–4 engineering squads, ensuring clear priorities, strong execution discipline, and predictable delivery outcomes.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of each squad’s roadmap, capacity, constraints, and performance.
  • Lead delivery across product features, technical debt, platform improvements, and operational work (incidents, resilience, support).
  • Ensure readiness for delivery through well‑structured backlogs, aligned objectives, and clear acceptance criteria.
  • Cross‑Team Delivery & Dependency Management
  • Work closely with other Agile Delivery Managers to manage dependencies across 30+ global engineering squads.
  • Coordinate sequencing, risk management, and alignment for transversal initiatives spanning multiple teams.
  • Facilitate cross‑squad forums (Scrum of Scrums, dependency reviews, release readiness syncs).
  • Maintain clear documentation of dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Agile Ways of Working (Multi‑Team Environment)
  • Champion lean, scalable delivery practices that work across multiple teams and regions.
  • Promote continuous improvement and delivery discipline across squads.
  • Support teams in iterative planning, effective estimation, and realistic forecasting.
  • Technical Delivery & Engineering Alignment
  • Understand architectural patterns used across squads (APIs, microservices, cloud services, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Partner with Engineering Leads and Architects to identify and manage technical risks, platform dependencies, and environment constraints.
  • Feed technical incidents, post‑mortems, and reliability improvements into delivery plans and backlogs.
  • Ensure technical debt and resilience initiatives receive appropriate prioritisation and visibility.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management
  • Provide clear and concise updates on progress, risks, delivery confidence, and scope changes to senior stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary delivery partner for Product Managers and Engineering Leads.
  • Translate complex technical issues into business‑relevant insights.
  • Maintain strong relationships across Engineering, Product, Security, Data Protection and Architecture.
  • Shape delivery practices to support consistency and predictability across global teams.
  • Use delivery metrics to drive improvement.
  • Champion a culture of learning, experimentation, and operational excellence.

Skills

  • Proven experience as an Agile Delivery Manager or Delivery Lead in a tech‑first or Saa S organization.
  • Experience managing delivery for multiple squads simultaneously (typically 3–5 teams).
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and modern engineering practices.
  • Hands‑on experience coordinating delivery in cloud‑native environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with microservices, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, Dev Ops practices, and modern cloud architectures.
  • Experience supporting incident response and post‑incident delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and manage cross‑team dependencies in scaled engineering organizations.
  • Skilled facilitator of Agile ceremonies and delivery rhythms.
  • Experience with lightweight scaling practices (Scrum of Scrums, dependency boards, cross‑squad planning).
  • Ability to coach teams on effective delivery habits and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with SAFe, Le SS, or other scaled agile frameworks (practical experience preferred, not required).
  • Tools
  • Strong experience with Jira, Confluence, Miro, and delivery reporting tools.
  • Preferred Qualifications & Certifications
  • Professional Agile certifications.
  • Cloud practitioner certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals (AZ‑900), or GCP Cloud Digital Leader.
  • The Interview Process
  • Online interview with the Talent Partner
  • Online interview with the VP of Delivery and Delivery Director
  • Final interview with the CTO

Brush Up on Your Coding Skills

For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.

Know Your Tools and Frameworks

Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned. If Rewardgateway uses React or Node.js, for instance, be ready to discuss how we’ve used them in previous projects or coursework.

Prepare for Behavioural Questions

While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
