We are looking for a Lead UX Researcher to shape the future of our platform and products and champion human-centred design. In this role, you’ll lead strategic research initiatives, mentor a growing Design and Research team to help mature processes and deliver insights that directly influence product direction and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifying the prioritising effort around the biggest opportunities and risks over different timescales
- Mentor Researchers, designers and embed best practices across the product organisation
- Plan and execute end-to-end user research using qualitative and quantitative methods (e.g., data analysis, usability testing, interviews, surveys, diary studies, etc.)
- Support team members when it comes to gathering, analysing, synthesising research data, and presenting or applying insights to the team\’s work
- Translate research findings into clear, actionable insights and present them to stakeholders at various levels
- Develop and maintain research documentation, personas, journey maps, and other artefacts.
- Maintain and continue to develop a centralised user research repository
- Contribute to the development of internal research processes, a centralised repository, and best practices
Skills
- 7+ years’ UX research experience, strong leadership skills, and a track record of how research has driven business impact
- Qualitative Research mastery across the discovery and evaluative phases of the design process using a varied methodology
- Mix method insight development, triangulating different sources from data, interviews and desk research to build more confidence around product direction
- Comfortable with User testing and data analysis tools like UserTesting, Maze, Tableau and analytics
- Ability to frame complex concepts simply and clearly, adapting for different audiences and organisational levels
- Create compelling evidence narratives that support a diverse range of customers and users over multiple geographies
- Experienced at driving Research vision and strategy on a global level and developing team standards in an emerging practice

- Critical thinking and pattern recognition
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
The Interview Process
- Online interview with the Senior Talent Partner. This should last no longer than 40 minutes
- Online interview and talk through a User Research case study with the Head of Product Design and a User Researcher
- Final interview with the Head of Product Design and Product Director
