What you'll be doing
As a Srategic Account Manager, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of strategic banking clients, ensuring they achieve maximum value from their partnership with Reward while identifying opportunities to grow and strengthen those relationships.
You'll
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across loyalty, digital, payments, marketing and customer engagement teams.
- Develop strategic account plans aligned to your clients' business objectives and long-term goals.
- Lead regular business reviews, governance meetings and strategic planning sessions, using data and insight to shape meaningful conversations.
- Proactively identify opportunities to grow partnerships, improve customer outcomes and deliver additional commercial value.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex client challenges, bringing together cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes.
- Work closely with Product, Operations, Engineering, Marketing, Data and Partnerships to ensure client commitments are delivered.
- Drive continuous improvement across your accounts, championing best practice and enhancing the overall client experience.
- Use customer insights, performance data and market trends to shape recommendations that deliver measurable results.
- Mentor and support junior Account Managers, sharing expertise and helping to develop the wider Customer Engagement team.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who combines commercial thinking with exceptional relationship management skills.
You'll ideally have
- 5+ years' experience managing complex B2B client relationships.
- Experience within retail banking, payments, loyalty, fintech or a related sector.
- A proven track record of driving client satisfaction, retention and commercial growth.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and influence strategic decisions.
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and presenting to executive audiences.
- Experience managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced, matrixed organisation.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- A collaborative approach and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding client experiences.
