Are you a commercially minded operator who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution? We’re looking for a hands-on Head of Marketplace to own, scale, and continuously evolve our Redemption Store. This is a high-impact role with full end-to-end ownership from defining the vision to delivering commercial results. You’ll operate as a senior individual contributor, leading the marketplace strategy while rolling up your sleeves to make it happen.
You’ll be the driving force behind our marketplace ecosystem shaping the proposition, optimising performance, and ensuring a seamless, engaging customer experience. Working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, UX/UI, CRM, and Banking teams, you’ll turn ideas into delivery and strategy into measurable growth.
What You’ll Own
- You’ll define and evolve the roadmap, balancing commercial growth, customer experience, and technical delivery. This is your marketplace to build.
- You’ll lead key partner relationships (including platforms like Tillo and Activate on Demand), negotiate agreements, and continuously strengthen the proposition through new partnerships.
- Full ownership of revenue, margin, and cost. You’ll drive performance, identify opportunities, and build a clear path to sustainable growth.
- You’ll translate commercial needs into product priorities, working closely with Product and Engineering to ship improvements and new features at pace.
- Act as the central point of alignment across teams, ensuring clarity, momentum, and delivery. You’ll work closely with CRM and Banking teams to maximise engagement and client impact.
- You’ll analyse data, understand customer behaviour, and continuously test, learn, and improve conversion and engagement across the marketplace.
What You Bring
- Proven experience owning or scaling a digital marketplace, e-commerce platform, or rewards proposition.
- Strong commercial acumen with P&L responsibility or influence.
- Experience managing third-party partners and commercial negotiations.
- A hands-on approach equally comfortable setting strategy and delivering it.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, and UX/UI.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Bonus if you have:
- Experience in loyalty, rewards, fintech, or banking, and familiarity with gift card or affiliate platforms.
This is a rare opportunity to truly own a marketplace not just influence it. You’ll have the autonomy to shape strategy, the visibility to drive impact, and the scope to build something that directly contributes to business growth.
Ready to make an impact? If you’re excited by ownership, commercial growth, and building a marketplace that truly delivers we’d love to hear from you. Apply now.
