Reward is seeking an experienced Head of Risk & Compliance to lead and oversee our organisation wide governance across information security, risk, compliance, quality, and sustainability. This is a strategic leadership role, operating across the UK, Europe, and EMEA, responsible for safeguarding Reward’s brand, reputation, and operational resilience while embedding a culture of compliance and risk awareness across the business.
What you’ll do:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire teams to deliver best in class risk and compliance outcomes.
- Develop, review, and implement risk and compliance policies aligned with regulatory changes and industry best practices.
- Serve as a trusted partner to senior management, business units, external auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Act as Data Protection Officer, overseeing data privacy and protection initiatives.
- Design and implement enterprise-wide risk management frameworks, ensuring operational, financial, legal, and strategic risks are identified and mitigated.
- Oversee compliance with industry standards and certifications, including PCI DSS, ISO 27001, ISO 9001, EcoVadis, and BCorp.
- Drive business continuity planning, sustainability initiatives, and corporate responsibility programs.
- Monitor emerging risks, analyse trends, and present actionable insights to the executive team and board.
What we’re looking for:
- Extensive experience in risk management, compliance, and information security governance.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, governance best practices, and standards in the card payments industry.
- Hands on experience with compliance certifications and risk tools. SOC II experience is a plus.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities, able to navigate complexity and provide clear guidance.
- Adaptable, resilient, and detail oriented, able to thrive in a fast paced, evolving environment.
