Description

Data is at the heart of Reward’s business, and the Head of Data Product is a pivotal leader within the Data and Insight Department.

In this dynamic and data-rich environment, you will work with vast datasets, analysing billions of purchase payments and consumer behaviours. Your mission is to define and deliver innovative data products and modern solutions that generate insights for internal teams and external partners like Experian and Visa.

As the Head of Data Product, you will lead and inspire a team responsible for delivering cutting-edge insight products and prototyping new data and analytics solutions. From managing projects end-to-end to collaborating with stakeholders, your efforts will help shape Reward’s data strategy and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Data Product Strategy & Roadmap
    • Lead the strategic direction for Reward’s data products, creating and executing a roadmap aligned with organisational goals.
    • Collaborate with IT, business leaders, and other stakeholders to identify and prioritise data initiatives that meet business needs and improve data literacy.
  2. Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Partner with business leaders, analytics & data engineers, and data scientists to align data product development with business objectives and customer requirements.
  3. Data Product Development
    • Oversee the entire lifecycle of data product delivery, ensuring high-quality, accessible, and reliable outputs.
    • Establish clear processes for gathering requirements and defining success metrics for data products.
  4. Team Leadership & Growth
    • Build, lead, and mentor a cross-functional team of data analysts, analytics engineers, and data scientists.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
  5. Data Governance & Compliance
    • Ensure that all data products adhere to data privacy regulations, governance standards, and ethical guidelines.
