We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on Director of Analytics & AI to lead and scale our analytics capability at the intersection of data, product, and AI. This is a pivotal leadership role where you’ll turn complex data into insight, influence product and commercial decisions, and help shape how advanced analytics and AI are embedded across the business. You’ll lead a high performing team, define analytics strategy, and partner closely with Data & Engineering, and senior leadership to drive measurable impact.

What you’ll do

  • Define and own the enterprise analytics strategy across business, product, and customer domains.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high performing team of analysts, analytics managers and data scientists.
  • Establish best practices for analytics delivery, experimentation, and insight generation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, translating data into strategic decisions.
  • Product & Data Analytics
  • Drive deep product analytics, including user behaviour, funnels, experimentation, and feature performance.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to embed analytics into the product lifecycle.
  • Leverage large scale, complex datasets to uncover trends and opportunities.
  • Champion a data driven product culture supported by clear metrics and dashboards.
  • Advanced Analytics, AI & Innovation
    • Lead the use of advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI to solve business and product problems.
    • Identify opportunities to apply predictive modelling, segmentation, and AI driven insights.
    • Partner with Software & Data Engineering teams to productionise models and insights.
    • Stay ahead of emerging analytics and AI trends, driving innovation across the organisation.
  • Data Governance, Quality & Enablement
    • Ensure analytics outputs are built on trusted, high quality, well governed data.
    • Define KPIs, success metrics, and analytics frameworks that scale with the business.
    • Promote self-service analytics while maintaining consistency and reliability.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Impact
    • Work cross functionally with Product, Commercial, Marketing, Risk, and Technology teams.
    • Present clear, compelling insights to executive stakeholders and the board.
    • Prioritise analytics initiatives based on business value and strategic impact.

    • Significant experience in senior analytics leadership roles within data-driven organisations.
    • Strong background in analytics, data science, and product analytics.
    • Proven experience applying advanced analytics, machine learning, or AI to real world business problems.
    • Deep understanding of analytics tooling, data platforms, and modern data stacks.
    • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to link analytics to outcomes and ROI.
    • Excellent leadership and people-management skills, with experience building high performing teams.
    • Exceptional communication skills, able to influence and engage at executive level.
