Your Role in our Mission: We are looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join us and support product teams by fostering a culture of data-driven decision making, implementing best-practice tracking, and creating data-driven insights. Ideally, you’ve already excelled in an analytics, insight, research, or data-related role at a SAAS company.

What You’ll be Doing:

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Cultivate and champion a data-driven culture by educating stakeholders on the value and best use of data, empowering them to make informed decisions. Be a partner to Product Managers throughout the Discovery/Design phase of the PDLC, ensuring the right metrics are considered and are trackable post release. Evangelise and democratise access to product data and help derive actionable insights. Deliver thoughtfully designed self-serve dashboards and reports that deliver value to the user, while maintaining and improving the existing suite. Help improve the data literacy of the product organisation.
  • Tool Management: Assist in the management and implementation of analytics tools used in product development and reporting. Ensure analytics platforms are correctly utilised to meet reporting needs. Define best practice for analytics (event taxonomy, naming conventions, properties, user/device IDs etc.).

Experience and Skills You Need in this Role:

  • Proven experience in a Product Analyst, Data Analyst, or Insights Analyst role, particularly in a SAAS environment.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of data implementation principles (including tracking tags/events), product metrics and performance indicators.
  • Demonstrable experience of building a data driven culture within a product organisation and managing change.
  • Able to influence teams to adopt new practices.
  • High proficiency in data analysis tools/techniques (e.g., Heap, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, SQL).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with statistical concepts and data analysis techniques.
  • Familiarity with data platforms including data warehouses & modelling tools such as DBT would be a plus.
  • Excels at building strong partnerships with stakeholders and sharing knowledge openly within a collaborative team.
  • Ability to work with multiple product teams/stakeholders concurrently.
  • Confidently communicate findings and recommendations to senior technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
