Responsibilities
- Our mission is to make the world a better place to work and to achieve this mission we need a skilled and experienced Mobile App Product Manager with deep knowledge of native i OS / Android app development, including i OS and Android ecosystem guidelines and best practices, to lead and oversee our mobile application within our organisation
- We are seeking a Product Manager with strong Mobile App experience to own and drive the development of our mobile app whilst playing a key role in ensuring consistency and cohesion across our mobile ecosystem
- You will work with Product leadership to help shape and implement product strategy, conduct research, manage launches, and ensure our app delivers exceptional value to our users
- Importantly, you will collaborate closely with other Product teams to identify opportunities for cross-app functionality (such as widgets and shared services), and champion consistency across our various modules
- You will work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and stakeholders across the organisation to bring innovative mobile solutions to market
- Reporting To: Product Management Director
- Work with Product leadership to help shape and implement the product strategy for our mobile app, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives and market needs
- Collaborate with other Product teams to identify opportunities for cross-app functionality and shared components (such as widgets, shared services, and reusable features), driving consistency across the mobile ecosystem
- Work with product peers to establish and enforce product standards and guidelines across modules, ensuring a cohesive user experience
- Oversee qualitative and quantitative research efforts to identify user needs, pain points, and opportunities for app product innovation
- Conduct app-specific multivariate testing to drive product enhancements and improvements
- Analyse market trends, competition, and business metrics in the mobile app space to inform product positioning and strategic direction
- Communicate the mobile app product vision and goals clearly across engineering teams and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap for the app, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that meet user needs and drive business growth
- Manage app launches and devise effective go-to-market strategies, coordinating with relevant teams to ensure successful market entry
- Collaborate closely with mobile engineers to establish technical best practices and maintain code quality standards
- Influence cross-functional teams, promoting a culture of continuous innovation and collaboration
- Implement and enforce i OS and Android guidelines to ensure product quality and consistency

Qualifications
- Solid experience in Product Management, with time spent focused on native or React Native i OS / Android app development
- Experience with app launch and go-to-market strategies, as well as app-specific multivariate testing
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- Experience in mobile app-specific user research, market analysis, mobile app technology trends, and business fundamentals
- Familiarity with agile principles, agile methodologies and tools, and experience applying them in a mobile app development setting – specifically the Atlassian suite of products
- Excellent product management and prioritisation abilities, with experience driving cross-functional collaboration and alignment
- In-depth knowledge of i OS and Android ecosystem guidelines and best practices
- Experience working with mobile engineers and a solid understanding of the technical aspects involved in building and maintaining native or React Native i OS/Android apps
- Proven track record of launching and iterating on high-impact mobile apps
- A strategic thinker who can balance innovation with business objectives
- A collaborative partner who thrives in cross-functional environments and can build consensus across multiple product teams
