Weâre looking for a hands-on Domain Architect (Solutions Architect) to contribute to shaping the future of Reward Gatewayâs technology landscape. You will be part of the team defining and implementing architectural solutions that support platform modularisation, authentication, CRM and marketing integrations, and scalable system design. Youâll work with engineering and product teams to turn ideas into practical, high-impact solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
Authentication & Identity Strategy
- Design secure, scalable authentication flows
- Address multi-program user scenarios and SSO challenges across web and mobile platforms, in coordination with the group strategy on the topic
Platform Architecture
- Lead architectural design for modular monoliths and microservices, based on the DDD approach
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and compliance with GDPR and company standards
Integration & Data Connectivity
- Architect integrations with CRM tools (Braze, Heap.io, LaunchDarkly) and broader ecosystem
- Support convergence initiatives with platforms like Smarter and Explorer
Technical Leadership
- Championing technology standards and patterns across engineering teams
- Contributing to enterprise roadmaps and technology strategy
- Guide engineering teams on architectural best practices
- Participate in code reviews and mentor developers on secure and efficient design patterns.
Cross-functional collaboration
- Regular collaboration with enterprise architects on strategic alignment
- Partnership with security and compliance teams on governance requirements
- Engagement with other solution architects to ensure consistency
Documentation & Governance
- Produce architectural blueprints and transition plans
- Accountability for the creation and maintenance of architectural decision records.
- Participate in architecture review processes and approval workflows
- Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards and patterns, identifying and controlling divergences from established patterns
- Escalate architectural decisions that require broader organisational input
Skills and experience required:
- A proven track record and senior-level expertise in software architecture roles within large-scale cloud-native platforms.
- Deep practical knowledge and experience in domain-driven design
- Strong developer experience and knowledge around PHP is a nice-to-have
- Deep understanding of OpenID Connect, OAuth2, and SAML protocols
- Experience with CRM, Marketing, feature flagging, and analytics tools (Braze, Heap.io, Mixpanel)
- Proven ability to lead architectural migrations and manage technical debt.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
