We're partnering with one of London's most exciting and rapidly growing fintech companies as they continue to invest in their Platform Engineering function.
/n
They're looking for a Senior Platform Engineer who wants more than just another engineering role. This is an opportunity to help shape the platform, influence technical decisions, and build the cloud infrastructure that powers a rapidly scaling business.

You'll join a collaborative engineering team where your ideas are encouraged, ownership is expected, and you'll play a key role in driving automation, reliability, and platform maturity.

What You'll Be Doing
/n
/n
- Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable Azure infrastructure using Terraform with an Infrastructure as Code-first approach
/n
- Manage and optimise Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerised workloads using Azure Container Apps (or similar container platforms)
/n
- Build, manage, and optimise Docker images and containerised application deployments
/n
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, enabling faster and more reliable software delivery
/n
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and operational tasks using PowerShell
/n
- Work closely with software engineering teams to improve developer experience, deployment processes, and platform reliability
/n
- Support and optimise Azure SQL environments, ensuring performance, availability, and security
/n
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to improve platform performance and resilience
/n
- Champion cloud security, governance, and automation best practices across the Azure estate
/n
- Contribute to the evolution of the company's Platform Engineering strategy and cloud roadmap
/n
- Mentor engineers and share knowledge across the wider technology team
/n

What We're Looking For
/n
/n
- Commercial experience in a Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering role
/n
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
/n
- Experience managing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or container platforms such as Azure Container Apps
/n
- Strong experience with Docker and containerisation technologies
/n
- Expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
/n
- Strong experience building and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
/n
- Solid scripting skills with PowerShell
/n
- Experience supporting or administering Azure SQL (or Microsoft SQL Server)
/n
- Experience with monitoring and observability tooling
/n
- Good understanding of cloud networking, security, identity, and platform automation
/n
- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset
/n
- Someone who enjoys solving complex problems, improving platforms, and continuously learning
/n
