  • Support and optimise Azure SQL environments, ensuring performance, availability, and security
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to improve platform performance and resilience
  • Champion cloud security, governance, and automation best practices across the Azure estate
  • Contribute to the evolution of the company’s Platform Engineering strategy and cloud roadmap
  • Mentor engineers and share knowledge across the wider technology team
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Commercial experience in a Platform Engineering, Dev Ops, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering role
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Experience managing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or container platforms such as Azure Container Apps
  • Strong experience with Docker and containerisation technologies
  • Expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
  • Strong experience building and maintaining Azure Dev Ops CI/CD pipelines
  • Solid scripting skills with Power Shell
  • Experience supporting or administering Azure SQL (or Microsoft SQL Server)
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tooling
  • Good understanding of cloud networking, security, identity, and platform automation
  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset
  • Someone who enjoys solving complex problems, improving platforms, and continuously learning

Why Join?

  • Join one of London's fastest-growing fintech businesses
  • Work with a modern cloud-native Azure technology stack
  • Help shape the future of the Platform Engineering function
  • Work alongside talented engineers in a highly collaborative environment
  • Clear opportunities for progression as the business continues to scale
  • Ongoing investment in training, certifications, and professional development
  • Hybrid working with just one day per week in the Central London office
  • Your ideas won’t sit in a backlog—they’ll help define how the platform evolves

Don't Tick Every Box?

That’s okay.

The hiring team understands that great engineers aren’t defined by matching every requirement.

If you have strong Azure, Kubernetes, and automation experience, along with a genuine desire to learn and grow, we’d still love to hear from you.

This is a company that genuinely invests in its people, offering structured career development, training, and the opportunity to grow alongside the business.
