Warehouse Coordinator IDS (Immunodiagnostic Systems), a leading provider of in vitro diagnostic solutions, now part of Revvity, are on the lookout for a Warehouse Coordinator to join us on a full-time, permanent basis in Boldon. Note the working pattern as standard is Monday-Friday (days).

Principal Accountabilities

  • Perform duties in accordance with the appropriate procedures and methods, by way of good planning and organisation of department workload.
  • Packing/dispatch of products in accordance with the appropriate procedures and methods, in a timely manner, to schedule.
  • Protection of products/materials against spoilage and deterioration.
  • Receipting of incoming deliveries.
  • Liaison with drivers, ensuring correct goods are handed over.
  • Maintenance/development of Quality System (ISO 9000/cGMP).
  • Liaison with other departments as required.
  • Handling and disposing of waste products in line with company practices.
  • Replenishment of stock to appropriate departments (SIRF).
  • Stock control of products required for special shipping i.e. Dry Ice.
  • Safe disposal of expired finished goods kits.
  • Regular cycle counts.
  • Other ancillary duties.

Qualifications

  • Educated to at least GCSE level in Maths, English and Science.
  • Fork truck license preferred but not essential.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Knowledge of Warehouse functions, material control, packing and despatch.
  • Good computer skills. Experience in Word, Excel, Outlook and Operational Databases.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a departmental or cross-functional team.
  • Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • A flexible approach to work requirements.
