We are seeking a highly motivated Fintech Business Analyst with 1-3 years of relevant experience in consulting, financial services or FinTech operations. This role is essential for supporting both the BizOps and Sales teams to drive the customer onboarding process. The ideal candidate will have a background in banking, management consulting or other quantitatively driven financial services roles, and will possess strong analytical skills, excellent initiative and meticulous attention to detail, coupled with an eagerness to contribute to a fast-paced and rapidly scaling FinTech environment.
Responsibilities
- Customer Onboarding, Data Analysis and Risk Assessments
- Conduct thorough analysis of revenue, payment history and credit data to assess prospective and existing customers, including evaluating their creditworthiness and financial health.
- Support the onboarding process by evaluating customer documentation, assessing financial risk.
- Monitor customer performance and identify risks related to invoice purchasing and advances and support the credit team with ongoing portfolio and client risk analysis activities.
- Set up and configuration of customers onto the Revving platform.
- Support sales teams with analysis and evaluation of new clients.
- Work closely with the sales and product teams to streamline and enhance the customer experience.
- Support the processing of advances and repayments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in transactions.
- Assist with design and implement robust operational processes and contribute to operational improvements by identifying and implementing best practices in loan operations.
- Work with Product managers to identify tech roadmap items relating to platform operations.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in commerce / finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
- Role Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in financial services, credit analysis, a FinTech or other relevant functions.
- Industry Experience: Prior experience in FinTech, digital economy, AdTech, or affiliate marketing sectors is preferred but not required.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to conduct financial analysis, credit risk assessments, and interpret complex datasets. Candidate must be proficient in excel.
- Operational Experience: Exposure to loan processing, payment operations, and financial compliance is advantageous.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to evaluating financial data and processing transactions.
