A well-established, fast-moving premium food distributor that supplies high-end hotels, fine dining restaurants, and specialty retailers across Singapore. Part of a large, financially stable European group with a strong global sourcing network.

The Role

You’ll lead the purchasing function end-to-end — from supplier negotiations and order management to customs compliance and inventory planning. This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll manage a team of 7 — be in the detail, mentor your team, and step in operationally when it counts.

What You’ll Own

  • Full supplier lifecycle: negotiations, contracts, performance management, claims resolution
  • Weekly procurement cycle for perishables sourced across multiple countries (air and sea freight)
  • Demand forecasting and inventory optimisation — balancing freshness and shelf life against cost and service levels
  • Import documentation and customs clearance in line with Singapore food safety regulations
  • Order tracking, reporting, and escalation management
  • Direct relationships with the company's key customers and suppliers

What We’re Looking For

  • F&B, specialty food, or FMCG procurement background
