We’re hiring Lead Python Developers to join a fast-growing FinTech building scalable, high-impact products in a complex, regulated environment. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll lead a small team of engineers while remaining deeply involved in architecture, backend development, and technical delivery. You’ll work closely with Product and Engineering leadership to shape solutions, drive best practice, and build reliable systems at scale.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and mentoring a small team of engineers
- Designing and building scalable backend services in Python
- Driving technical delivery, architecture, and engineering quality
- Collaborating with Product teams to turn ideas into practical solutions
- Improving systems, tooling, performance, and developer experience
- Supporting production systems and ensuring smooth releases
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years’ commercial Python development experience
- Previous experience leading teams or acting as a Tech Lead
- Strong backend engineering and system design skills
- Experience working in fast-paced, scaling environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A pragmatic engineer who balances speed, quality, and scalability
