A growing technology-driven organisation is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join its platform and infrastructure team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2-3 years of DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE experience who enjoys solving technical problems, improving developer experience, and building scalable automation solutions.
The successful candidate will play a key role in platform automation and CI/CD improvement, working closely with engineering teams to support production systems, streamline deployments, and enhance observability across the estate. This role offers genuine ownership, strong technical exposure, and a clear progression path into a mid-level SRE position within 18 months.
Required Skills & Experience- ~2-3 years’ experience within DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering
- ~ Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience
- ~ Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- ~ Strong Terraform experience, including designing reusable modules
- ~ Ability to write clean, maintainable production-quality code in Python or Bash
- ~ Solid networking knowledge including DNS, load balancing, and CDN concepts
- ~ Experience with monitoring/observability platforms such as New Relic, Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana
- ~ Comfortable working in incident management and on-call environments
- ~ Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot
- Go programming experience
- Ansible or other configuration management tooling
- Experience working with multiple CDN providers including CloudFront, Fastly, or Cloudflare
- Hybrid working model
