You’ll play a key role in evolving a modern data stack into a scalable, business-aligned function within a fast-growing, mission-driven platform with strong foundations and clear product–market fit. You’ll operate as a hands-on data leader, owning strategy while still contributing technically across modelling, orchestration, ingestion and BI. This is a critical hire, you will also explore and shape how AI sits within Data, helping users interpret data more responsibly, not just faster. The environment is collaborative, pragmatic and ownership-driven, with a clear path toward Data Director as the function formalises.

What do you need?
- Strong commercial experience in data engineering/analytics engineering roles
- Proven experience leading a small data team
- Deep data modelling expertise
- Hands-on experience with BigQuery, dbt and Airflow
- Exposure to AI/LLM tooling (commercial or personal) and an interest in how it can be applied to data interpretation
