We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop in Horsham, West Sussex. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. Key duties:
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify faults and issues.
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including engine diagnostics and repair, brake repairs, suspension works, tyre and alignment work.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used via a tablet.
- Test vehicles post-repair to ensure all issues have been resolved and safety standards met.
- Work as a team player within a busy workshop environment.
- Communicate effectively with other staff members and discuss faults with customers when required.
- Maintain good housekeeping.
Experience:
- Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar automotive repair role.
- Level 2 qualified Vehicle Technician - Level 3 preferred with experience.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to test and diagnose vehicle issues.
- Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and software is advantageous.
- A valid driving licence is essential.
- Own tooling required.
