About the role
We are seeking a passionate and resilient Outdoor Education Specialist / Behaviour Mentor who can deliver engaging, hands-on learning experiences for young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a highly rewarding role where you will use outdoor and experiential learning to support engagement, emotional regulation and personal development. The role will involve facilitating a range of group-based outdoor activities, including:
- Hiking and walking programmes
- Rock climbing and adventurous activity sessions
- Gardening and horticultural learning
- Team-building and confidence-building outdoor interventions
As an Outdoor Education Specialist, you will play a key role in helping pupils re-engage with learning through practical, structured and therapeutic outdoor experiences.
