Primary Teaching Assistant – Nottingham & Nottinghamshire Nottingham, Carlton, Arnold, Mansfield, Newark, Retford, Worksop, Eastwood and Long Eaton Revolve Collective is working closely with primary schools across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire to recruit Teaching Assistants. Our partnerships include schools that place importance on curriculum enrichment, children’s individual strengths and strong foundations in reading, writing and maths. We’re looking for people who understand how to support learning without doing the work for the child. In the classroom You’ll work under the teacher’s direction, helping individuals and small groups understand activities, practise skills and follow classroom routines. You’ll also share useful feedback about pupils’ progress and where further support is needed. Experience worth highlighting * Previous work with primary-aged children. * KS1 or KS2 classroom experience, including Year 3 or Year 4. * Phonics, literacy, numeracy or small-group interventions. * A Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant practical experience. SEN/SEND experience is welcome. You’ll need to communicate clearly with children and colleagues and understand your safeguarding responsibilities.
