Behaviour Mentor (Secondary) Lichfield (Multi-campus or Single-site options available) £192.59 - £110 x 5 days (Higher rates offered for drivers willing to travel between campuses) Full-time / Part-time (Temp-to-Perm or Ongoing Supply)
About the Role
Are you a resilient, commanding, and empathetic individual who can see past a student's behaviour to their potential? We are seeking an exceptional Behaviour Mentor to support secondary-aged students in the Lichfield area. This role is specifically designed for someone who thrives on a challenge and wants to make a real, lasting impact. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students who find the standard classroom environment difficult, helping them de-escalate, manage their emotions, and re-engage with their education. We have opportunities across different campuses in the local area; if you are a driver willing to move between sites, we can offer our top-tier premium rates. If you don't drive, we can comfortably secure you a stable role fixed to a single site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on a 1:1 or small-group basis with secondary-aged students displaying challenging behaviour or social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
- Implement tailored behaviour intervention plans, helping students recognize triggers and develop positive coping mechanisms.
- Act as a bridge between the student and the classroom, restoring focus and ensuring a calm transition back into learning.
- Set firm, fair, and consistent boundaries, acting as both a strong authority figure and a trusted mentor.
- (For mobile roles) Commute efficiently between local campus sites to provide targeted support where it is needed most.
What We Are Looking For:
We need someone with an unshakeable presence who can handle challenging days with composure and a sense of humour. We are looking for:
- Experience: Previous experience as a Behaviour Mentor, Youth Worker, Sports Coach, or working in PRUs / Alternative Provisions with secondary-aged youth.
- Behaviour Mastery: Exceptional, confident behaviour management skills with a proven track record of successfully de-escalating heightened situations.
- Character: Thick-skinned, highly resilient, and emotionally intelligent. You must be able to build quick rapport with disengaged or vulnerable teenagers.
- Travel (Optional but Desirable): A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle is highly advantageous for our multi-campus, higher-rate roles.
Why Join Revolve Collective? (The Benefits)
We believe our support staff are the backbone of the classroom. When you join us, you get more than just a shift:
- Competitive Weekly Pay: Daily rates paid into your account every Friday. Premium rates are unlockable for drivers flexible across local campuses.
- Wellbeing First (Industry Unique): Because behaviour mentoring requires high energy and resilience, we protect your peace. We are the only agency offering dedicated Wellbeing Days and access to paid leave to ensure you stay refreshed and recharged.
- Ultimate Flexibility & Career Security: This role is a temp-to-perm opportunity, allowing you to find a secure, permanent home within the school/trust. However, if you prefer to stay flexible and remain on supply, we can absolutely accommodate that—you control your schedule via our system.
- Expert Coaching: Friendly, experienced consultants who provide specialized tips on behaviour management and CV building.
- Local Focus: We focus exclusively on Staffordshire, meaning shorter commutes and more time for yourself.
How to Apply:
If you have the drive, resilience, and presence to guide students back on track, apply to Revolve Collective today.
