Cover Supervisor in Glossop

Cover Supervisor – Glossop Primary and secondary settings Revolve Collective is recruiting Cover Supervisors for schools in the Glossop area. At secondary level, the published emphasis on safety, respect and kindness provides a clear foundation for classroom expectations. The Cover Supervisor brief is to supervise work prepared by teaching staff, keep pupils engaged and maintain the school’s routines. The phase and responsibilities will be discussed against your experience. During a cover lesson * Introduce the work and make instructions clear. * Keep the class focused and respond to questions about the task. * Follow behaviour procedures and request support when necessary. * Record what was completed and provide an accurate handover. Evidence of classroom readiness We’re looking for experience managing groups of children or young people, maintaining boundaries and communicating clearly. Previous Cover Supervisor work is particularly relevant, as is Teaching Assistant experience involving classroom cover. Tutoring or youth-work experience may also be useful where it demonstrates suitable group-management skills. Please specify primary KS1/KS2 or secondary KS3/KS4 experience.
