We are recruiting for a specialist SEN school that supports pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The Role
- Supporting children with Autism across the school day
- Helping pupils access learning activities and achieve individual targets
- Encouraging communication, social development, and independence
- Working collaboratively with teachers and specialist staff
- Providing a calm, positive, and consistent approach to support
What We're Looking For
- A genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs
- A positive, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude
- Patience, flexibility, and adaptability
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
Desirable
- Previous experience supporting children with Autism (ASD)
- Experience within education, care, support work, or similar environments
- Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning, SEN, Childcare, or equivalent
