We are seeking a creative, collaborative and experienced Freelance Exhibition Designer to lead on the design and development of Revoluton’s upcoming outdoor touring exhibition, Undercurrent: Movement of the People.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with us as we continue to develop ambitious creative projects that celebrate Luton’s diverse communities and heritage. The designer will play a vital role in bringing together research, photography, sound and artistic commissions into an engaging, accessible and cohesive outdoor exhibition, touring across Luton and London in 2027.
We are looking for a designer with experience in large-scale, mixed-media and outdoor exhibitions, who can combine creative vision with practical design solutions. This is an amazing chance to collaborate with artists, heritage specialists and communities to bring powerful stories of migration, activism, music and cultural identity to life, connecting people and places along the River Lea.
Equity, diversity and inclusion are at the heart of everything we do, from programming work with, by, and for Lutonians, to how we budget and build partnerships. We are committed to creating accessible and inclusive experiences that reflect and celebrate Luton’s incredible diversity. We welcome applications from designers of all backgrounds who share our commitment to community-led creativity and positive social change.
