Cloud Engineer

Cloud Platform Developer | Contract | Up to £520 | Hybrid (3 days on-site & 2 days remote, p/week), London

I’m seeking a cloud platform developer on a contract basis to perform in‑depth research and development on the latest Azure container technologies for a major consultancy. You’ll be creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation, designing and implementing observability tools, and contributing to the software development cycle.

Responsibilities

• Perform in‑depth research and development on Azure container technologies.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Qualifications

• Ability to automate processes and create monitoring solutions (GitLab CI, Kubecost, Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with Azure Cosmos DB APIs and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Helm charts and the Helm release process.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and Bash scripts for automation.

Contract Details

Duration: Initial 12‑month term. Visa sponsorship not available. Hybrid working – 3 days on site and 2 days remote per week.
