Our Financial Services client with a global presence are currently searching for a CTO to oversee a distributed team of around 130 Engineers.
In this role, you will work directly with the Chief Product Officer, as well as other Executives and distributed Technical Leads to execute on and deliver the roadmap over the coming years.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the globally distributed teams remain on track to deliver on the roadmap, both in the short-term and the long-term
Leading and mentoring high-performing Engineering teams
Oversee a robust and more importantly secure platform that remains compliant with current financial regulations
Oversee all technical and architectural decisions, driving technical excellence all the way
Interview and hire the very best Software Engineers, maintaining an extremely high bar
About You:
You come from a FinTech or Financial Services background
You are comfortable with constructive confrontation and are not afraid to push back on other business leaders\’ views and opinions
You have a Software Engineering background, and are ideally well-versed in Ruby and
