Revolution Recruitment Resources Ltd are recruiting on behalf of a well established and prestigious law firm based in Manchester for an experienced and caring Probate Solicitor to work within a friendly and supportive team in order to provide the most comprehensive service to their clients.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Probate Solicitor to join our growing team based in Ramsbottom. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with strong experience in probate and estate administration who is looking for a supportive and flexible working environment. The role offers hybrid working, with a minimum of three days per week in the office and the remainder worked remotely. Part-time and flexible working arrangements will be considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied caseload of probate matters from instruction through to completion
  • Advising clients on estate administration, wills, and inheritance matters
  • Preparing and submitting probate applications and related documentation
  • Liaising with executors, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and HMRC
  • Ensuring all work is conducted in compliance with SRA standards and regulations
  • Providing clear, professional advice while maintaining high standards of client care

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with relevant post-qualification experience in probate
  • Strong knowledge of probate procedures, estate administration, and inheritance matters
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Commitment to maintaining professional standards in line with SRA regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Excel
  • Experience with case management systems such as Proclaim, Hoowla, desirable
