Revolution Recruitment Resources Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a prestigious multi-office law firm for a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to be based within the company's offices in Kirkham. We are looking for a Conveyancing Assistant or Paralegal to work within a busy residential conveyancing department. Prior relevant experience is essential. This is a great opportunity to learn from and work with experienced solicitors and greatly develop your legal career and skillset within Residential Conveyancing matters, leading to running your own caseload when fully ready to do so. This is a full-time office-based position. The client prides themselves on delivering great customer service, and part of this is that there will be someone at the office to meet their clients.
Skills
- Prior knowledge of the residential conveyancing process in a practical setting (simply studying the topic at university, for example, is not sufficient).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to learn new software programmes as needed.
Responsibilities
- Review and draft routine legal documents.
- Create and maintain case files.
- Facilitate the meeting of attorney's deadlines by keeping organized schedules and providing timely reminders.
- Possibly run own caseload of files pertaining to Sales & Purchase, Freeholds, Leaseholds, TOE, Remortgages and New Builds if and when you feel comfortable doing so.
- Conduct legal research.
Qualifications
- Experience as a paralegal within Residential Conveyancing.
- Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate.
