Our client, a major firm with 8 offices throughout Liverpool, is looking to recruit a Commercial & Residential Conveyancing Solicitor/Licensed Conveyancer/Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years PQE who has a passion for their work and excels in a thriving and client-focused environment. About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Conveyancing Accredited Chartered Legal Executive to join our Commercial and Residential Property team. This role is focused on dealing with a variety of Commercial and Residential property matters and offers the opportunity to handle a varied and interesting caseload in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Experience: 3+ years PQE (Post-Qualification Experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a broad range of commercial and residential property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and landlord and tenant disputes.
- Providing expert legal advice to landlords, tenants, property developers, and investors on all aspects of commercial and residential property law.
- Drafting and negotiating leases, tenancy agreements, and other property-related documents.
- Advising on property transactions and conducting property due diligence.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations affecting property transactions.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and other professionals.
Essential Criteria:
- A qualified solicitor with 3+ years PQE in commercial and residential property, landlord, and tenant law.
- Proven experience in handling a varied caseload involving property transactions, leases, and disputes.
- Experience of Case Management Systems, Laserforms and the Land Registry Portal are essential.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues to clients clearly and concisely.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
- Sound knowledge of property law, including the latest legal developments and industry trends.
- A proactive and client-focused approach to work.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience of working in a firm with CQS accreditation preferred.
- Experience of using Infotrack.
- Experience dealing with high-value property transactions or complex landlord-tenant matters.
- Knowledge of planning, development, or property finance would be an advantage.
