Our European business, based in London, is in a rapid phase of growth and we are now conducting a search to identify an outstanding individual to lead on newly acquired and existing client accounts, with a focus on sponsorship activation of global sports properties across F1, football and golf.
As a Senior Account Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful development, planning and execution of sponsorship activation programmes for brand clients who are significant investors in global sponsorships (F1, football, golf and others). Reporting to the VP, Head of Integrated Client Services, you will be a leader within the Account Management group, responsible for developing and directing multi-discipline teams in the management of our client programmes at all levels; ensuring the development of outstanding work product (client advisory, creative, broad execution); and acting as a key lever to unlock future growth with clients through the development of outstanding relationships.
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Building, maintaining and expanding client relationships to facilitate delivery of integrated services and drive agency growth.
- Acting as a partner to your clients, becoming their 'go-to' as they navigate the complex world of sponsorship marketing.
- Managing a skilled account team and acting as a facilitator for personal progression.
- Integrating and directing internal agency service resources to ensure seamless execution and delivery of programme initiatives across creative strategy, content, hospitality, communications, experiential, measurement and consulting.
- Leading on partnership management responsibilities for our clients - planning activation programmes, rights utilisation, liaison with rights holders, ensuring value is achieved for our clients.
- Proactively identifying and bringing to fruition world class sponsorship activation concepts in partnership with strategic and creative team members.
- Overseeing all client-related financial and administrative duties, maintaining programme financials, contract administration, client onboarding, invoicing and PO creation, and budget forecasting.
- Representing rEvolution and your clients at relevant sports events globally, either in a delivery or client relationship capacity.
You Have:
- Significant client management experience at a prominent sponsorship agency.
- Recent professional experience from the world of F1 (strongly preferred), football or golf.
- Strong proficiency in sponsorship rights and partnership management.
- Understanding and appreciation for the creative process and impact of creative through the lens of sports sponsorships.
- The ability to travel as necessary to align with client programming and planning meetings offsite.
- Proven experience and knowledge of integrated marketing communications.
