We are looking for a visionary Global POS Designer to join our creative team. You will be the bridge between our brand’s digital aesthetic and its physical presence on the high street. Your mission is to stop shoppers in their tracks at Boots, Superdrug, and other mass retailers through innovative, high-impact retail displays. From large-scale permanent gondolas to temporary FSDUs, you’ll design experiences that make our products impossible to ignore in a crowded, fast-paced retail environment.
What you’ll do:
- Conceptualisation
- Secondary sites (displays, store takeover…): create strong 2D story-telling POS concepts to support product launches globally that will be:
- Anchored in product key claims and campaign direction
- Creative, unique, eye‑catching and on brand
- Suitable for store environment
- Working with international POS agency and sales teams, coordinate fixture update for all new launches
- Identify opportunity for improvement of permanent fixtures
- Ensuring easy navigation and shopping
- Considering retailers guidelines and understanding planograms
- Build clear timeline based on sales teams print deadlines and communicate to brand teams
- From POS briefs to final print ready artworks
- Respecting retailer guidelines
- Respecting printers specs, dimensions and resolutions
- Ensuring designs are not only beautiful but functional—considering shopper ergonomics, durability, replenishment ease, and lighting.
- Closely adhering to approved concept
- Implement artwork on die lines, cutters/PDF’s, embracing different print requirements
- Manage expectations from sales teams
- Communicate deadline for brand assets needs to brand team
- Gain approval from creative director on all created assets
What you’ll have:
- 3+ years design experience in a fast‑paced environment.
- Obsessed with beauty and experience within beauty brands in retail is a bonus.
- Knowledge of trends, innovation, and cosmetics campaigns.
- Portfolio of previous work is essential.
- Degree preferred within design, graphics, marketing and/or brand related.
- Advanced knowledge in Adobe‑Illustrator, In‑Design and Photo‑Shop. (95% of the time will be using Adobe Illustrator.)
- Visualization skills within 2D (expert level). *3D (is a bonus).
- Ability to manage workflow databases, view spreadsheets and translate briefs.
- Ability to work in an extremely fast pace, with multiple projects and priorities.
- Driven, self‑starter with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Open to receiving criticism and a level of resilience in re‑working projects.
- Excellent time and project management.
- Strong communicator, with the ability to coordinate across different teams.
