About the role

The Regulatory Affairs team builds transparent relationships with regulators to keep Revolut moving forward with confidence. They stay ahead of regulatory change, provide timely responses to enquiries, and work across the business to ensure compliance is always in step with innovation. We are looking for a Regulatory Strategy Manager specializing in financial crime (FinCrime) to join our Group leadership team as the key point of contact for regulators on FinCrime matters. As a subject matter expert in AML, CTF, KYC, sanctions, and fraud prevention regulations, you will ensure the company\\\’s compliance as Revolut grows in the UK and abroad.

What you\\\’ll be doing

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key regulatory authorities (PRA and FCA) regarding FinCrime matters
  • Communicating clearly with regulators and the business, distilling complex information into digestible pieces
  • Keeping regulators up to date with new products and initiatives
  • Responding to regulatory requests for information
  • Translating regulator feedback into strategic roadmaps to ensure Revolut meets regulatory requirements
  • Working with Revolut Group\\\’s Board and ExCo to factor regulatory feedback into decision making
  • Preparing management reports for regulator meetings, internal committees, and the Board
  • Providing expert advice on FinCrime regulatory matters to senior management and cross-functional teams
  • Delivering training and updates to the Product team and wider business
  • Building scalable processes and documentation for the team
  • Championing conduct and compliance across the business
  • Managing team members

What you\\\’ll need

  • 7+ years of experience in regulatory affairs or compliance/risk at a regulated financial services firm, fintech, regulator, etc.
  • Expertise in financial crime (AML, KYC, sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption, and fraud prevention)
  • Experience managing regulatory relationships with supervisory authorities on FinCrime matters
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant international and UK FinCrime regulations, including FATF recommendations and EU directives
  • Knowledge of how banks are supervised and how a regulatory affairs team works
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with senior stakeholders and be a credible counterparty for regulators at all levels
  • Self-motivation, self-organisation, and focus on high-quality delivery
  • Impeccable written communication skills and the ability to deliver concise messages
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to build solid, mutually respectful relationships across diverse teams
  • Previous management experience leading a regulatory affairs team
  • Proficiency with tech software to manage work streams
