We are looking for an experienced Data Protection, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Governance Manager to safeguard our operations and ensure compliance in a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape. You will define a data governance approach suitable for a highâgrowth trading entity to ensure we meet regulatory requirements, maintain accurate data, and proactively shape and build the right solutions to comply with emerging AI regulations.
What Youâll Be Doing
- Act as Data Protection Officer for Revolut Trading Ltd and its UK subsidiaries.
- Develop and update local policy addendums, procedures, and standardized risk controls for data protection, artificial intelligence, and data governance, and oversee effective deployment.
- Review new products and services to ensure alignment with relevant data protection and AI regulations, as well as data governance requirements.
- Define and implement the 2LoD data governance model to ensure data is accurate at all times, including development and maintenance of robust data mapping frameworks.
- Provide expert advice on data protection and AI regulatory compliance as an SME, primarily focusing on the UK's GDPR and upcoming AI regulations.
- Deliver local training and awareness of data protection, AI regulatory, and data governance requirements across the organization.
- Assist in managing interactions with supervisory authorities on data protection and AI regulatory compliance matters, helping to foster positive and constructive relationships.
What Youâll Need
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Protection/AI Regulatory Compliance/Data Governance Manager with demonstrable experience in UK data protection laws, regulations, and guidance.
- Expertise in data modeling, including conceptual/logical and knowledge of data warehousing principles.
- Experience building and maintaining data catalogues, data libraries, and data quality controls.
- Knowledge of data ownership, stewardship, and classification.
- Comprehensive experience in SQL.
- An understanding of regulatory requirements related to data protection and AI, coupled with a genuine passion for developing expertise in emerging areas.
- A solid understanding of the interplay between compliance risk and business risk.
- A solutionâoriented mindset that facilitates solving complex privacy and data protection problems.
- The ability to communicate positively with members of various internal teams and regulators.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to provide clear, concise, and timely advice when dealing with ambiguity.
