We are looking for a Risk Manager to sit within the first line of defence and own business risk management processes across our crypto entities. You will take an analytical approach to developing sustainable growth strategies that align with operational risk frameworks and take our risk management procedures to the next level.
What you will be doing:
- Overseeing the consistency and effectiveness of the entire first line of defence for crypto entities
- Working closely with key first-line functions, coordinating with Business Risk Managers in each of them
- Collaborating with stakeholders to refine and improve how risks are assessed and managed, including how to handle, report, and prioritise risk issues and incidents
- Delivering effective crypto risk management frameworks and minimising risk issues/incidents
- Helping to define and execute the growth required in this space, aligning with business needs and regulator expectations
- Creating and enforcing guidelines and risk frameworks for our first line of defence
- Identifying, assessing, documenting, and reviewing operational risks
- Designing, implementing, and testing controls
- Creating and reviewing key risk indicators
- Managing and delivering risk incident reports
What you will need:
- A university degree in a relevant area (finance, economics, etc.)
- 7+ years of experience in operational risk management, enterprise risk management, or management consulting, preferably in crypto, wealth and trading, or financial services
- Exposure to banking operations and crypto regulations
- Previous examples of practically interpreting and organising complex data
- A solid track record of achievement, backed by compelling and material individual contributions
- The ability to quickly and proactively learn and assume increasing responsibilities
- An organised and methodological approach
- Dynamic interpersonal skills
Compensation range:
- Krakow: PLN27,100 - PLN31,900 gross monthly
- Poland: PLN27,100 - PLN31,900 gross monthly
- Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process
