About The Role
The Legal team turns complexity into clarity by partnering with teams across Revolut to provide sharp, practical advice that helps the business move fast while staying protected. From structuring credit programmes to navigating new markets, the Legal team ensures growth is secure, compliant, and built for the long term.
We’re looking for a Legal Counsel who’ll act as an independent advisor to the (to be licensed) UK Bank team. You\’ll have dual reporting lines into the senior leadership of the UK Bank, and Group Legal teams. You will be an independent advisor from Group Legal to the UK Bank, but you will also have the support of Group Legal’s Commercial, Corporate, Disputes (etc.) functions. Your primary functions are to act as a source of independent advice to the UK Bank, and to bring retail banking and prudential expertise not already provided by Group Legal for our payments and e-money operations.

What You\’ll Be Doing
- Advising the UK Bank on legal and regulatory issues surrounding structuring, marketing, and promotion of banking and group products
- Advising the UK Bank on legal and regulatory issues related to bank-specific operations
- Structuring and expanding Revolut’s banking products
- Managing applications and communications with the PRA and FCA
- Managing regulatory filings and registration processes
- Identifying, assessing, monitoring, managing, and reporting on compliance risk in relation to banking products
- Liaising with external counsel and coordinating advice for senior management and non-legal audiences
- Leading legal projects while handling complex matters under short timelines
What You\’ll Need
- 5+ years of PQE
- Excellent academic and law firm credentials
- Sound judgement, composure under pressure, and a collaborative mindset
- Confidence making decisions where there is ambiguity or incomplete information
- Expertise in financial regulations including CRD, CASS, FSMA, PSD II, and FCA/PRA Handbooks
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
