What You’ll Be Doing
- Using Workiva to prepare and review our annual and quarterly financial statements
- Ensuring that the Group and Company’s financial statements comply with all relevant requirements and best practices
- Delivering process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the financial reporting process — both via automation and development of internal control over financial reporting
- Developing the Group’s accounting policies, ensuring that they’re up to date and in compliance with IFRS
- Providing advisory support from a financial reporting and technical accounting perspective for the launch of new products, expansion initiatives, and corporate restructuring activities
- Supporting the ongoing development of our technical accounting & financial reporting policies, processes, and controls to ensure objectives are met in a cost-effective and efficient manner
- Leading the external audit process
What You’ll Need
- Designated accountant (e.g., ACA, CPA) with a relevant degree from a top university
- 5+ years of post-qualified experience in a senior accounting or finance role (e.g., controllership function, internal accounting, reporting, assurance, etc.)
- Advanced experience applying IFRS, technical accounting, and financial reporting in a banking or fintech environment
- Experience with reporting requirements for listed entities (preferably SEC-related)
- 4+ years of people leadership experience
- Excellent organisational skills to plan and organise work efficiently
- A structural and logical approach to solving problems
- Excellent analytical skills and a hands-on attitude
- Great motivation and focus on delivery
Nice to have
- Good knowledge on SQL and/or Python
- Experience with NetSuite and/or Workiva
- IPO experience
